I would say that making such judgements over the phone would be a bad idea, due to the lack of actual presence. There is a reason we should try to make such decisions in person. When we can simply press a button, we may not make the same decision.

We have to learn how to be honest with each other - face to face as well as online. But online must be kept totally free because there is no danger of physical harm by communicating via a screen.

With the Betterment Ethic, People will be looking for ways to make things better for Others to earn the appreciation, respect, thanks, and other positive currencies.

I would say that making such judgements over the phone would be a bad idea, due to the lack of actual presence. There is a reason we should try to make such decisions in person. When we can simply press a button, we may not make the same decision.
If you want that you set it up. It's good to have both but don't wait for others to do it for you. If that's what you want, put a proposal in and start one and see how many are prepared to make it work with you. You would be the originator of the proposal and the process to make changes is for others to make proposals and for them to again be approved by the 80%.
One can show up at any trial. Nothing to stop One - except maybe space... And the reason it's 80% is to cover any that are poor at judgment or have skin in the game.
80% is a good ratio for surety. It allows things to get done and the extremists on both sides tend to cancel each other out. So we get the largest majority it (the proposal) appeals to.
