I think crypto in a private blockchain might work. Fiat currency isn't bad, it is just a medium of exchange that makes economic activity vibrant and healthy. I don't believe anyone ever turned lead into gold. I did see a video the other day where a guy turned copper into what looked like real gold bars - but we know it's not gold. So if gold becomes one of the items we trade for goods, we better have some way of checking to see if it's real gold. LOL. I confess I don't understand how that would ever come to pass anyway, but who knows? What fun times we're in eh? Working hard, here, to keep trusting things will shake out well in the end, whenever that is.
