For me it all, always, comes down to the accounting; the value that has been attributed to either money or things. The earths contribution is seldom accounted for; for example, today I made some beeswax candles (from remainders of others). I made 3 candles I could value at 15 dollars each, but if bees are gone, or I cannot get beeswax, what does the value of the candles become? 20? 40? All accounting is based on the timestamp, and changes wildly sometimes when materials are simply not available.
